After our bus broke down, we surprised the team with a true Jamaican lunch at a little roadside grill called "Scotchie's." The Fields went ahead to prepare the meal for us, and when we arrived, we had a delicious feast of jerk chicken, festival (fried dough), tropical juice, and tamarind balls (a candied Jamaican fruit). On the other side of the was a short strip of rocky shoreline and the ocean! We're in Jamaica! We were so excited about it all that no one even complained about having to wait a couple hours for our bus :)
