DAY 3 MID-DAY UPDATE

Hello everyone, just a quick mid-day update while our college students are handling the VBS for the children at New Vision. Vickie and I are sitting in the van, the only good connection to get the internet lol. Today a team of students went to another school (Christian Moravian) to do an assembly for about 800+students while a few of us stayed back and started on the constuction projects. Pastor Eric keeps talking about bringing home an addition to the Goldsborough home...Marlene he may be serious, picture to follow!

Fun stuff today with painting the playground equipment...Ian decided to have fun with the paint brush and paint my arms with oil base paint...he's presious. Austin & Brandon finished up the windows today at the New Vision Children's Home that is a blessing. Several of the students enjoyed playing with the children at the home that seems to be the highlight of the trip thus far..but how could it not be they are adorable!

This is Jamaica, the showers have been cold, the electric keeps going out, the dogs are barking ALL hours of the night but we are having a blast.

Tonight we will be holding a program for the teenagers here at the home...we are going to be doing most of our skits and dramas and Emma will be sharing her testimony.

God has been touching the hearts of our students in many ways...some are stepping out of their comfort zones some are praying out loud some are sharing what God is speaking to them, it has been a blessing to watch them each day.

All for now, Justine aka (Jamaica Mom)

Vickie too she is getting ready to download some pictures enjoy!

AHHHHH EMMMA, I know you're going to do great giving your testimony. I can't wait to hear how it goes. And Eric, your son looks JUST like you. Congrats with that. Maddi, I miss you SO SO much. It's worse than last year. I need to see a picture of you with a child ok. Someone please show me a picture with maddi and little child. Oh, also, I can't even imagine how maddi is reacting to the dogs barking at all hours. Wow. Good luck with that. And finally, I'm proud of all of you and so glad you are accomplishing so much already. love, Mel

Hello team!

Heard a very appropriate song on the radio on my way home from work tonight. I hope it provides some inspiration...sure made me think of you all:

"Use my hands use my feet
To make your kingdom come
Through the corners of the earth
Until your work is done
'cause faith without works is dead
And on the cross your blood was shed
So how could I not give it away so freely?

And I'll follow you into the homes that are broken
Follow you into the world
Meet the needs of the poor and the needy, God
Follow you into the world."

Good night, God bless and keep up the great works! Love, Lyd's dad
